Cultural Consultancy Intern

We build an experience for travellers and enable them to better understand and interact with local cultures all over the world. We are looking for a new colleague to join our team and grow into a global cultural consultant. The job will give you a great exposure to cultures all over the world and need you to understand, interact and build relationships with people of different cultures and backgrounds. We take an open-minded approach to understanding culture and have a passion for delivering an innovative and fresh vision on the richness of the world.

Roles and responsibilities:

Build a good understanding of the local cultures all over the world by means of creative research
Acquire a perspective on the needs of our cruise industry clients
Work with on-line search tools and be able to synthesise findings in a concise and accurate way
Create detailed product descriptions and help build new approaches for delivering a rich cultural experience for travellers
Communicate efficiently and clearly with people all over the world
Organise their work, set goals and follow through in meeting set deadlines
Negotiate, motivate and build trust with our partners and collaborators
Take guidance from the team and be able to continuously improve your work

What we are looking for in a candidate:

Passion and enthusiasm for travel and exploring cultures all over the world
Great English skills
Experience in creative writing in English
A good understanding of a secondary language is a plus (Spanish, German, Mandarin, French)
Good understanding and experience with office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong problem-solving attitude, critical thinking and analytical skills
Self-discipline and ability to work together responsibly as part of a team

We are looking for a person interested in starting their career as an intern for 3 months and growing into a full-time contract at the end of the probation period. We are a great team with varied backgrounds that has built a unique product for the global market and we want you to be enthusiastic about.
